Baby Names
Here are names I would name my kids. In no particular order or combination preference. No first or middle name preference. Although, I think I would want all my kids to have an English first name and a Vietnamese middle name. This is assuming they get a Korean last name.
Girls
Jenny: I’ve always really like this name because it’s so simple and girly yet carefree, strong and outgoing. For some reason this name gives me the image of a tall girl running through a field of flowers on a sunny day. Weird, I know. But this name probably will not come to fruitition because this is my cousin’s name. And I don’t want my kids to have the same name of an existing family member.
Gwen: The name is exotic to me. And reminds me of something very precious, like a gem, but with a twist.
Uyen: I imagine this name bearer to be very innocent and sweet. Won is like 100% against this name cuz it’s my sister in law’s name and he doesn’t want our kids to have the same name as my sister
Diem: I always think of this name as someone being very beautiful and girly and extremely smart and clever. And I like the Y sound it starts with (In Vietnamese it’s pronounced like Yee-em)
Grace: So Korean I know. Maybe she’ll end up looking like a Kdrama hottie. Hahaha. I imagine Grace to extremely kind and romantic, with an air of beautiful sadness. Although I hope my daughter isn’t actually sad.
Joy: See Grace. But replace the sadness with outgoing.
Boys:
I don’t know. I don’t think about them much. I mean, I would love little boys and all but I don’t get as excited as when I think about daughters. Terrible, I know.

I named my first daughter Ánh Tuyết.
i think its more fun to name girls. i had a couple of names in mind for a boy, and when i had him, it was simple and easy to just put it down on the birth certificate. girls on the other hand, i feel like there’s soooo many good options.
